Why do some pediatricians suggest dandruff shampoo for cradle cap?

The following books are the largest most popular textbooks in pediatrics and pediatric dermatology—recognized by all pediatricians.

They make an obvious case that anti-dandruff shampoos should be used for seborrheic dermatitis or cradle cap.

A study was done that showed 70% of pediatricians recommend using an adult anti-dandruff shampoo to eliminate the flaking and scaling associated with seborrheic dermatitis. Many people refer to seborrheic dermatitis as cradle cap.

Pediatricians are just starting to learn about the existence of Happy Cappy Medicated Shampoo and Body Wash  which contains an active ingredient and so is also an antidandruff shampoo, but one that was designed for the delicate skin of a child.

Happy Cappy is made without harsh drying ingredients, and contains no fragrance, dye, or irritating preservatives like parabens. Happy Cappy has helped children’s scalps all over the country and pediatricians are happy about it.
