Spotting the Problem

Dandruff can be easy to spot. It’s a fairly common condition that causes the scalp to flake.

Malassezia Folliculitis (Fungal Acne) occurs when Malassezia yeasts make their way into the hair follicle and sebaceous gland. When it overwhelms this space, the cells that clean up infection step in and cause a local inflammatory reaction.

Below are photos of scaling and redness and flaking of the scalp, also known as pityriasis capitis or Cradle Cap.

The photos containing redness behind the ear and in the armpit are examples of Seborrheic Dermatitis.

Also featured are photos of Eczema and Keratosis Pilaris.

The improvements seen were obtained by exclusively using Happy Cappy products with no additional prescription oral or topical medication.
